We are a small group dedicated to helping mostly German Shepherds in the Poconos to be removed from any bad situation and relocated to a new forever home. 

Allie

Meet Allie, we rescued her when we lived in NJ from the Garden State German Shepherd Rescue, GSGSR.  She had been in the Newark Shelter after being found as a stray in Irvington.  She was our first foster dog and we fell in love.  She has been with us since may of 2003.  After moving here to PA and working with local rescues we realized there was no local German Shepherd Rescue.  So many Shepherd's came our way once it was known that we like shepherds and used to volunteer with the GSGSR.  Now we feel it is time to get organized and get others who love this breed together so we can make sure that all the GSD have a happy ending like Allie did.

Adopted

We want to work towards helping any and all GSD's who need to be rescued.  We need people who love GSD's to help us by either volunteering with fund raisiers and/or becoming a foster home.  We need people who know GSD's well and people who want to know GSD's, we need anyone who cares about this special breed.
